St. Paul’s is people who seek ways to connect and serve our local communities. Sharing our time, our hearts, and our gifts is a way of embracing our world.

We regularly donate food and non-perishables to the St. Vincent DePaul’s Food Pantry that serves the Marinette area.

Some of our crafty members are making hats and scarves that are given to mariners through the Christmas at Sea ministry.

Every Christmas, St. Paul’s adopts a family through the Salvation Army and provide the family what they need to celebrate the holiday.

Our parish hall is available for community use and currently hosts a Tai Chi class on Saturdays and AA meetings twice a week.

The first Episcopal services held in the Marinette/Menominee area were in 1858 led by the Rev. Charles Edwards. In 1873, St. Paul’s was organized as a mission and, in its earliest years, met in various halls on Main St.

A small wooden church was built in 1880 on land donated by Senator Isaac Stephenson. A rectory was built beside the church in 1883.

The church building has gone through several enlargements and reconstructions throughout the years, the last in 2002 which added a narthex, classrooms and a garth.
